I have always wanted to write poetry that feels like an essay—
poetry born from the small moments of everyday life,
woven into words that could become both verse and melody.
As I wrote, I often asked myself:
What if poetry could capture the fleeting simplicities of life?
What if seeing life more deeply could make it richer?
The world around us is filled with countless stories,
countless faces coexisting side by side.
The emotions they stir in us,
the wisdom we gather from people,
all breathe softly—
whispering themselves into poetry.
There are times when simply moving at a slower pace
is mistaken for idleness.
And in a world that rushes forward,
it is not always easy to linger,
to observe,
to feel.
But we are all imperfect beings.
And so, should we not love ourselves more,
respect ourselves more?
Should we not live
without being swayed by the judgments of others,
without letting their opinions define us?
There is only one of you in this world.
And if you can embrace that truth,
if you can live fully as yourself,
then surely—
you will find yourself
on the path to true happiness.
